The WAAA is being established in recognition that AI Academies have a critical role to played in creating the army of AI entrepreneurs that will help to deliver the Sustainable Development Goals ( SDGs) to make a better, fairer world for all. Such AI product, services and agent developers (AI entrepreneurs) will be the driving force in making the benefits of AI available to all. AI Entrepreneurship will be one of the very few jobs that will survive the AI and robotic displacement of workers. Such developers make AI products and services available to improve business processes and to meet the needs of previously underserved communities in Low and Middle Income Countries (LMICs) so that no one is left behind.
WAAA management is currently promoting and discussing with international organisations the central development and then free distribution of 30-40 AI Entrepreneurship courses to develop SDG related products and services needed to meet the needs of the disadvantaged populations who were previously underserved. We are also working to get free or discounted access to frontier AI models , Big Tech products and cloud services to the WAAA Member AI Academies who participate in the proposed Global AI Entrepreneurship Training Initiative ( GAETI) which will be implemented via National AI training Initiatives (NATIs)n each country . WAAA will lobby at international level and, through our in country branches , at local level in each country to persuade governments to implement National Ai Entreprenreurship Initiatives within the GAETI
At present , WAAA is being established by a team of volunteers devoting their time and efforts to help create this umbrella organization to service the needs of AI Academies. We welcome assistance from others, particularly if you have skills in web design / maintenance ,social media marketing or membership services .
